ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

Please accept our invitation to the representative FIREMEN’S BALL that takes place in the hall of the Jiří Myron Theatre. There will be MUSIC—our band will perform live for dancing and listening. DANCING—gentlemen, do not just hold on to your pints! Ask your ladies to dance, each girl will be delighted. A RAFFLE—you can win a homemade headcheese, a bottle of cognac or a plaster gnome, and other attractive prizes. We will also vote for THE BEAUTY QUEEN. Come on, ladies, don't be shy and enter the contest, a professional contest committee of the fire brigade members will choose the most beautiful girl with a face like a picture, alabaster legs, and a smouldering bosom. The beauty queen will have the honour of decorating a deserving member of the fire brigade. Wait, where is that bottle of cognac? I thought there was the headcheese!
