Richard III.
One of William Shakespeare's greatest tragedies, whose power and timelessness has not diminished over the centuries. Shakespeare's graceful language and Martin Hilský's vivid translation gives birth to a fascinating and silver-tongued anti-hero, plot twist maniac, manipulation virtuoso, and perfect liar. Richard is a villain who would never have achieved his goals if he had not coldly exploited the pernicious ambitions and desires of those around him. Richard is hideous hunchbacked cripple. He served his brother Edward well during the war by the insidious murders he committed for him and eliminating the inconvenient. Edward is a king now thanks to these crimes.

ABOUT
One of William Shakespeare's greatest tragedies, whose power and timelessness has not diminished over the centuries. The war is over, and those on a top celebrate peace now. But there is no peace in the soul of crippled Richard. His black soul trapped in his disabled body hates too much the world around him as he can never enjoy its splendour and prosperity. He continues to do what he does best and continues killing. If he can't be part of the lucky world, he wants to take it over. This charismatic villain sets his rivals against each other, playing political power games and removing all those who stand in his way of power without a twinge of conscience. He rises from the bloodbath with a crown on his head. He has achieved his triumph, but there is no peace achieved for him. He has disposed of almost all his adversaries, but he has one that remains—himself.
