Land of Body
Belauding life, the movement-visual poem takes the human body as a metaphor of landscape. Leaning on mythology, rituals and folk tradition, it views transformations of Nature and Man, revealing the inner dialogue between old age and youth, yet transcends realistic time and milieu. The production celebrates beauty, spontaneity and fragility, while detecting vulnerability in physical display. Are we able to see ourselves as part of the landscape? The production blends cutting-edge film technologies, classical and contemporary dance, physical theatre, hand to hand and aerial acrobatics.
