This &ldquo;jukebox musical&rdquo; includes all of the best-known and beloved songs by this Swedish band of four and combines them into a thrilling story. Young Sophie wants to unravel the past of her mother Donna and find who her real father is. This all takes place under the warm Greek Sun with the sound of waves splashing and an upcoming wedding.
Over 54 million people in 40 countries has seen the&nbsp;Mamma Mia!&nbsp;since the musical&rsquo;s opening night at the London West End (1999) and New York Broadway (2001). Each day, there are at least 7 productions performed across three continents. The musical was nominated for four Laurence Olivier Awards and five Tony Awards. In July 2008, it was adapted into a movie featuring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried and Pierce Brosnan in main roles.

The Czech Cabaret Show brings a breathtaking full-length performance combining elements of cabaret, theatre, burlesque, vaudeville and modern circus. The most famous cabaret and musical numbers will amaze you with their original design, rich sets and beautiful costumes. The cast of the variety show consists of glamorous showgirls and dancers, leading Czech musical singers, elite performers, circus artists and acrobats. All this is enhanced by excessive props and stage effects.

The musical&nbsp;The Last Five Years&nbsp;is one of the most distinctive and original works by American composer Jason Robert Brown. It tells the intimate story of two young people&mdash;actress Cathy and writer Jamie&mdash;who experience five years of love, ups and downs together. What makes it truly exceptional is the way the story is told: we follow Cathy from their painful breakup back to their initial enchantment, while Jamie&rsquo;s journey flows classically from their first date to their final farewell. Their lives thus meet on stage at only one moment &ndash; on their wedding day.
Brown&rsquo;s music, acclaimed for its melodic richness and emotional depth, combines elements of jazz, pop, and classic musical theater. This creates space for an exceptionally intense theatrical experience&mdash;and, above all, for great acting and singing opportunities. The entire musical rests on just two performers, who must act out a gripping story on stage alone, without the support of supporting characters.&nbsp;The Last Five Years&nbsp;is therefore not only an intimate account of a relationship between two people, but also a real acting challenge and an opportunity to shine.

At the end of the 1930s, it became increasingly difficult to believe that a simple pencil and brush could succeed in the battle against main tanks, that ideals could counter ideologies. Can our young man stand up in the face of such&nbsp; darkness? And the mysterious girl who seems to have stepped out of Mucha's iconic posters, with whom the young man falls in love and for whom he travels halfway around the world, is she real, a mirage, or&hellip; is she not art nouveau herself?
"ME, ART NOUVEAU " is an opulent visual experience from the creators of the world-successful show Vivaldianno, led by Michal Dvoř&aacute;k, a member of the group Lucie. It's a show full of bursts of color and Mucha's masterpieces brought to life. It's a live concert of top instrumentalists, it's an inventive dance performance full of equilibristic acrobatics. It is a spectacular 3D projection full of unique technologies. The surprising connection of all these means of expression creates one stunning whole, which is framed by the captivating voice of the narrator Jiř&iacute; Dvoř&aacute;k (in the English version thanks to the Cinewav application - Pierce Brosnan).

After the successful productions of&nbsp;Jesus Christ Superstar&nbsp;and&nbsp;Evita, the intensive collaboration between the composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and the librettist Tim Rice has been falling apart. For this reason, Lloyd Webber began to focus on a number of chamber projects.&nbsp;Tell Me on a Sunday, a musical for one actress, was the most significant one. It is about a story of a young Englishwoman who suddenly appears in America, and where she experiences a number of relationships. In the Czech Republic,&nbsp;Tell Me on a Sunday&nbsp;was staged under the title&nbsp;L&iacute;p se louč&iacute; v neděli&nbsp;only once in 2001, it was translated by Pavel Vrba (+2011) and performed at the Ungelt Theatre with Marta Kubi&scaron;ov&aacute;. &nbsp; World premiere was held in 1982 in London, and since the musical lasted only an hour, it was staged along with another composer&rsquo;s work from 1979, which was a vinyl album called&nbsp;Variations&nbsp;by composer&rsquo;s brother Julian. It was the theme of Paganini but for cello. On the stage, the music was accompanied by a ballet. &nbsp; As the librettist of&nbsp;Tell Me on a Sunday, Andrew Lloyd Webber chose an experienced librettist Donn Black, with whom he worked on the famous&nbsp;Sunset Boulevard&nbsp;ten years later. An hour-long recital about the young Englishwomen finding her own way was originally written for Maria Webb. In the new millennium, in 2003,&nbsp;Tell Me on a Sunday&nbsp;was staged in London again. This time, it was an adjusted, stand-alone version. And this is the version for which we obtained the licence to perform next season at the Theatre &ldquo;12&rdquo; with&nbsp;Hana Fialov&aacute;. New texts and adjustment of the Czech libretto will be provided by the prominent translator of Lloyd Webber&rsquo;s musicals Michael Prostějovsk&yacute;. It is the opportunity for Hana Fialov&aacute; to introduce a very intimate story to the Ostrava audience.&nbsp;
