National Theatre Brno

Brno National Theatre, contributory organization is the main theater in Brno. It has three theater buildings: Mahen Theatre, Janáček Theatre and Reduta Theatre. It is a multi-ensemble institution, which consists of three ensembles: drama, opera and ballet, also each ensemble has its own management and dramaturgy.

Summer stage of the National Theater Brno at Špylberk and Bishop’s Courtyard 2021

Summer nights are best spent under the stars with music, and that’s why the company of the Janáček Opera of the National Theatre Brno has brought opera performances to the romantic Špilberk Castle for the fifth year. You can looking forward to The Barber of Seville, La bohéme, La traviata or Carmen. Also Ballet NdB will now perform the legendary Romeo and Juliet alongside other theatres and music concerts as part of the Summer at the Bishop’s Courtyard 2021, successful open air projects.
