A Holiday Among The Notes

Sense with us the acoustic possibilities of Dvořák Hall and try to hear what is written within its walls. This non-traditional musical gathering is like an outcome of the previous three workshops 100 Minutes Among the Notes, but you can come even if it is your first time.

Description

ABOUT THE EVENT

"Music is as much a beautiful adornment of our lives as it is an important means of communication between people. It shows us how to find beauty among difficulties, and calm and equilibrium in making our every-day decisions. It teaches us how to support children and young people on their sometimes difficult path to adulthood or to learning."

This is what we are told by Ondřej Tichý, the soul of our musical gatherings at the Rudolfinum. Come take part in making music resound, or just listen quietly and experience the depth of the present moment. The concert is like an outcome of the year-long journey for children, families, and teachers who met at workshops and gatherings, but you can come even if it is your first time. We cordially invite your friends, parent, and even grandparents who feel like discovering what a special place Dvořák Hall is.

The programme is based on a musical part but also on a spoken word that will be given in Czech language only. The programme will not be supplied with English subtitles.
