Baroque Evenings are trying to evoke the atmosphere of the original musical meetings Prague art-loving society at the beginning of the 18th century and at the same time to reveal the new context of the global repertoire of Baroque music including presentation yet not recorded works. Thematic programs reflect different forms of entertainment noble baroque society and sequence festivals of the church year (Advent, Christmas, Mardi Gras, Easter). The project is based on original and groundbreaking programming and hosting prominent Czech and foreign singers and instrumentalists accompanying residential ensemble Collegium Marianum. The result of research activities is the annual presentation of several modern world premieres. Baroque Evenings are held in unique areas of old Prague (eg. Prague Castle, Refectory of the Dominican convent, Baroque Library Hall, Břevnov monastery).
